Avatar is a metal band that has been growing in popularity over the last year and with their newest album I can see why. Avatars newest album “Feathers and Flesh” was released May 13, 2016 with Three singles “The Eagle Has Landed”,”Night Never Ending”and “New Land”. Feathers and Flesh has everything and more combining grove metal with death metal elements in a perfect mix .The album is a concept album telling a story of a owl and a eagle in war with each other,which sounds like a weird idea but it sounds amazing. If your looking for something a little more heavy I definitely recommend Avatar’s “Feathers and Flesh”.
